Please note that the booking and purchase of our products and services are subject to the following terms and conditions.

1. CHANGES TO RATES

The rates quoted in respect of the products or services are subject to change without notice.

2. PAYMENT

Payment may be made by Cash / Nets at our office premises.

You must make payments for products or services IN FULL in the manner specified by the indicated cut-off date (where applicable). The “cut-off date” is 03 Days upon confirmation.

IF YOU FAIL TO MAKE FULL PAYMENT BY THE CUT OFF DATE, YOUR BOOKING WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED.

3. DELIVERY

You could have your tickets delivered within Singapore. However, the tickets delivered, there would be a charge of S$20.00 per trip.

4. ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR EXTRA SERVICES

SIN CHUNG TOURS does provide other value added services as follows.

i.                     Visa Application – Charges levied for this are:

Handling Fee – S$30.00, in addition to the actual fee charges by the Embassies for the Visa.

5. NO LIABILITY

sinchungtours.com merely acts as a platform for products and services of the suppliers and shall not be responsible nor liable for:

  1. overbooking, misinformation or mishandling of any reservation or booking by the suppliers; or
  2. any other dissatisfaction or complaint of the member relating to the quality of the products or services provided by the supplier or otherwise howsoever;
  3. any damage or loss to your personal property or personal injury howsoever sustained or caused.  

6.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Passports 

It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they have a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of departure.

  1. Visas & other travel Documents

Relevant visas and vaccinations may be required. You must have the necessary visas, vaccinations, health certificates and all necessary travel documents as required by the various government authorities of the countries to be visited (e.g., exit permit, work permit, social visit pass, etc.)

Different embassies/consulates require varying lengths of time to process visa applications and can advise you accordingly. Please forward your passport to us as early as possible for visa applications.

If you are not a Singapore passport holder, please request to check with your embassy for visa requirements. However, we regret that we are unable to handle visa applications of non-Singapore residents.

We render assistance in making visa applications, wherever possible. sinchungtours.com cannot however, guarantee the approval of your visa application. This service is subject to auxiliary charges.

If, for any reason, your application for visa is rejected a partial refund of all monies paid (excluding visa application fees to the respective embassies) and / or other documentation fees/ cancellation charges will be made if the result of the rejection is made known to the company prior to departure. The company cannot be held responsible for any expenses, reimbursement or refund of any cost if the passenger is deported or refused entry by Immigration Authorities on the trip for whatever reasons, including improper travel documents, quarantine, custom regulation, possession of unlawful items or irregularities that may cause harm / damage to person or property.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

Neither sinchungtours.com nor the supplier shall be liable for damages of any kind arising out of the changes to the rates, route, timetable, itinerary in respect of the product or service due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our control.

8. ONLINE PURCHASES

sinchungtours.com acts as agents for all services and products purchased, and is not liable for any claims against non-fulfillment or unsatisfactory fulfillment of services and products purchased on the user’s behalf by the company from other third parties, such as, but not limited to, airlines, hotels, tour operators, car hire companies, insurance companies, and other entities.

 The user understands that all services and products purchased require fulfillment and documentation, such as issuance or air tickets and travel vouchers. Fulfillment is performed during normal office hours. As such, any travel request and bookings made require a processing time of at least one working day’s notice, subject to the  specific conditions applicable to the type of service or product purchased.

sinchungtours.com will not be held liable for any claims for damages or compensation against non-fulfillment, should a user purchase a service or product that cannot be fulfilled between the time of booking and the time of departure, on condition that all unutilized monies collected from the user for that purchase are refunded in full.

 The company reserves the right to decline any purchase for any reason on condition of refunding in full any unutilized monies collected from the user for that purchase, and shall not be held liable for any claims for damages or compensation.

The user agrees to bear the cost of any penalties and administration fees for services booked but not utilized for any reason.

The user agrees that multiple over-lapping bookings for the same traveler/s are not allowed and may result in penalties, which the user will bear.

9.CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

For every product and / or service offered, there is a stipulated time period (the “Cancellation Period”) for cheque refunds to be processed when a reservation that is fully paid for is submitted for cancellation. Normally it will three (03) months to process.

Refund are subject to the cancellation period set by the Supplier, and the cancellation fee that is calculated as a percentage of the product and / or service price.

In cases where full payment is not received by the cut-off date for the respective products, the booking will be cancelled automatically.

After commencement of travel, no refund in full or in part will be given for services included in the programme, which have not been utilized.

CUSTOMERS’ RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are advised to ensure that their documents are in order. Any discrepancies, i.e. loss/ missing/ incorrect data documents discovered on arrival will entail customers paying for the services accorded in the package at their own expense.

In such cases, payment will have to be made directly to the travel supplier (hotel, tour operator, car rental company) and no refund/ reimbursement will be entertained by sinchungtours.com.

10. SPECIFIC TERMS

  1. Deposits

A deposit of SGD$200.00 is required upon booking. This deposit forms part of your final payment. The balance must be made not later than 15 days before departure. Failure to comply with this will result in an automatic cancellation of your booking.

  1. Non-availability

All products and services offered on this website are subject to availability and acceptance, at the discretion of the supplier of such product and service.

In the event a product or service booked by you is not available, sinchungtours.com shall use its reasonable endeavours to suggest an alternative product or service of similar pricing and quality.

Where the product or service is either not available or our suggested alternative (where applicable) is not acceptable to you but is fully paid, we shall make a refund in accordance with our refund policy.

If you fail to accept our suggested alternative product or service by the specified deadline, we reserve our right to cancel our tentative booking of the same.

  1. Changes to Itinerary

You may make changes to your itinerary for bookings that have not been fully paid. Once a booking has been fully paid, to change tour itinerary, you must cancel your booking and make a new booking with the funds credited to your account upon your cancellation based on our refund policy.

  1. Refund policy

Refunds may be made by sinchungtours.com in the following circumstances:

i)        the product or service fully paid for is not available and our suggested alternative is not acceptable to you; or

ii)       you cancel your booking within the time stipulated in our travel voucher where refunds are available (the “Cancellation Period”).

Refunds shall be made:

-    in the case where a product or service fully paid for is not available and our suggested alternative (where applicable) is not accepted by you, IN FULL in such manner as sinchungtours.com may determine at its discression;

-    in the case of a cancellation, the amount refunded is dependent on the policies of the supplier. All cancellations are subject to cancellation charge.

11. SPECIFIC TERMS – HOTELS

At the time of booking, you will be given an order number. Full payment is required 15days before the reservation date. Failure to comply with this will result in an automatic cancellation of your booking.

  1. Booking Changes
    You may make changes to your bookings that have not been fully paid. To change a booking that has been fully paid, you must cancel and make a new booking with the funds credited to your account based on our refund policy.
  1. Refund Policy
    In the case of a cancellation, policies vary by hotel and season. The amount refunded is dependent on the policies of the supplier. Please inquire as to the specific terms regarding your reservation at the time of your booking.

12. SPECIFIC TERMS – AIRLINE TICKETS

At the time of booking, you will be given an order number. Full payment is required two (02) weeks before the date of departure. Failure to comply with this will result in an automatic cancellation of your booking.

  1. Incorrect Information
    Please ensure that the information you provide is true and accurate as you are liable for any additional charges or expenses arising therefrom (whether such information was provided inadvertently or otherwise).

    Rectification of incorrect information you provide may only be made through the fulfillment agent, which issued the airline ticket(s) in accordance with its policies (which may vary from agent to agent).

    You are liable for any additional charges or expenses imposed by the fulfillment agent in respect of such rectification.
  1. Changes & Cancellation
    Any changes to or cancellation of the airline ticket may only be made through the fulfillment agent, which issued the airline ticket. Such Changes or cancellation are subject to the policies of the fulfillment agent, which may vary from agent to agent.

    You are liable for any additional charges or expenses imposed by the fulfillment agent in respect of such changes or cancellations

    sinchungtours.com will not make refunds in any circumstances.
  1. Taxes
    Prices quoted do not include all applicable airport and passenger taxes, which must be paid by each passenger. Some airports will also require passenger facilities charges, which will be payable by the passenger at the airport.
