Sin Chung Tours Pte Ltd was incorporated in 1982. A sister company of New Shan Travel Service Pte Ltd, it was initially set up to tap the high China tourist market. Today it has evolved itself into a full travel service provider. Amongst the services provided are worldwide ticketing, in-house and airline packaged tours, hotel bookings, visa arrangements, sea cruises and travel insurance. It has also recently cooperated with Book-n-go.com and Worldspan to provide a platform for internet bookings through it own website SINCHUNGTOURS.COM.

Sin Chung works very closely with airlines operating out of Singapore and the airline products are re-distributed (via wholesaling) to numerous travel agents. Synergies are also obtained from New Shan Travel through training and cross exchange of management staff; joint promotions and negotiation with overseas travel agents.

Staff training and product knowledge updates are regular features in the company. IT and other computer related technology are also not compromised. These measures have enabled Sin Chung Tours to be more focus and win more repeat customers.

Looking forward, Sin Chung Tours plans to look for more business tie-ups; widens it clientele base through the Internet and works closely with other travel agencies.
